摘要:

Graphene-based materials are revealing the leading edge of advanced technology for their exceptional physical and chemical properties. Chemical manipulation on graphene surface to tailor its unique properties and modify atomic structures is being actively pursued. Therefore, the discovery of robust and general protocols to anchor active functionality on graphene basal plane is still of great interest. Multicomponent reactions promise an enormous level of interest due to addressing both diversity and complexity in combinatorial synthesis, in which more than two starting compounds react to form a product derived from entire inputs. It is well-known that the ornamentation of the carbon network by grafting diverse ligands and catalytic active molecules is important in creating versatile carbon based catalysts. To the extent of our knowledge, the utilize of carbon quantum dots (CQDs) for oxidative reaction is a truly novel application of this type of carbocatalysts and opens a new window to control the chemical and physical properties of CQDs to apply them in a variety of new catalytic reactions.

报告人简介:

Aram Rezaei is currently an associate professor at Kermanshah University of Medical Sciences (KUMS), Kermanshah, Iran. He received his Ph.D in 2013 from Zanjan University under the supervision of Prof. Ali Ramazani. In 2014, he carried out postdoctoral research at the Sharif University of Technology in the group of Professor Omid Akhavan, where he worked on the synthesis of multifunctionalized graphene-based materials for drug and gene delivery. His current research interest is mainly focused on the design and synthesis of multi-functional carbon material, as well as their applications for catalyst and drug/gene delivery.
